Sweet Noshings is a kosher (formal supervision available from R. Dani Green) catering company that specializes in- well, specializing. Whether you are having a simcha at a synagogue or at your home or other venue, Sweet Noshings will ensure that everything is tasty, tasteful and shock and awesome.
Recent events have included a Bar Mitzvah for a boy whose family heritage is Iraqui and Philipino, a Bar Mitzvah based on the Bar Mitzvah Boy's love of ketchup and his You Tube cooking show, and also Traditional Shabbat Dinners, and non traditional Congregational Kiddushes.
This is not your average Tuna and Egg Salad caterer, although we definitely serve those things as a part of post funeral meals. Sweet Noshings is a custom caterer.
This means that what you want is what you get. This means that if you order a shiva meal for a family, the menu will be coordinated per the wishes of the family and without repetition in meals ordered from Sweet Noshings.
Shul Kiddushes are available, and these are not dry cake and canned gefilta fish. Wherever time permits, hand and custom made are the rules of the day!
Meat, Dairy and Pareve foods are all available. You have my personal assurance that all food produced is strictly kosher, whether formally supervised or not! I am extremely well versed in the practice of kashrut and regularly utilize various Rav's as resources whenever unusual questions arise (like, for example, does Liquid Nitrogen need a hechsher when you are using it as a food production aid? Yep, tracked that one down! Still working with a Rabbi at the COR to figure out how to check Fiddleheads!) Yes, I am that much of a kashrut geek!
Seriously though, I have many non Jewish customers to whom I serve only strictly kosher food. Some are Vegan, some have special dietary requests, some are Muslim. Some just want a great meal from someone who thinks outside of the box! Whatever the style of food I am serving, I serve only kosher food.
